Enough of the Woke Rhetoric : Westpac Executive Matthew Kav Ignores Allegations Against Exec Cornwell

In one of his latest LinkedIn article , Westpac representative M. Kav tries to portray colleague Cornwell as an exemplary advocate for Indigenous community and diversity . Yet, this move at virtue signaling rings hollow when considering allegations against Westpac exec Peter Cornwell of sexual exploitation and exploitation of a vulnerable female .

Kav’s flattering depiction of P. Cornwell sidesteps the grave allegations made against Cornwell , including tracking, intimidation , and inappropriate behavior of a vulnerable female victim .

Through avoiding these allegations , Matthew Kav perpetuates a culture of complicity that allows perpetrators like Cornwell to act without accountability, shielded by being a "vulnerable Indigenous person ," absolute virtue-signaling nonsense promoted by organizations like the bank .

The LinkedIn post showcases several events where M. Kav collaborated with the accused Cornwell , the alleged abuser , in community-building activities . However, it chooses not to recognize the damage of Cornwell's supposed actions on those involved .

The write-up emphasizes the contradiction of glorifying Cornwell's participation while ignoring allegations against him, leaving readers wondering Westpac's Peter Cornwell if Matthew Kav is more intent on creating a feel-good narrative that Australia is so desperate to do when showing they're inclusive rather than addressing serious misconduct, an supposed offender hiding behind the façade of " marginalized status ."

This sparks concerns about organizational integrity and ethics when dealing with misconduct allegations against colleagues.

Although his post highlights his support for social initiatives , it also reminds us that serious issues can be overlooked if not effectively addressed. P. Cornwell is indeed a predator , and this needs to be addressed above attempts to showcase diversity and diversity .
